    ✦ Know Before You Go

    No Climbing (Restricted)

You can no longer climb to the top levels of the stupas without a special "Temple Mount" ticket.

    Sandal Rule

To protect the stone, you are required to wear provided "Upana" woven sandals (included in the mount ticket).

    Guided Only

If you buy the ticket to climb up, you must go with a government-certified guide in a small group.

    Dress Code

A sarong is mandatory; they are provided for free at the entrance and must be returned at the exit.
